I am very proud to announce the publication via my own Low Ghost Press of John Grochalski's new collection of poems "Glass City". Available in a limited edition of 100 hand-numbered copies for $8.00. "Glass City" can currently be found at Caliban Bookshop in Oakland and will soon be in discerning shops everywhere...or at least within walking distance of the bars I enjoy frequenting.

Also there's this thing called mail order which I can do. How exciting is that. If shipping in the continental United States please send a check or money order for $10 to:

Caliban Bookshop
410 S. Craig Street
Pittsburgh, PA 15213
Attn: Kristofer Collins

or

Call the shop at 412-681-9111 to place credit card orders.

International customers please send an email inquiry to lowghostpress@gmail.com and we'll work out the easiest way to get a copy of "Glass City" to you.

"Glass City" is John's second collection of poems. His first, "The Noose Doesn't Get Any Looser After You Punch Out" was published by Six Gallery Press in 2008.

from "Glass City":

talking love with a seven-year-old

some boy gave her
a lollipop

she whispered
in my ear

asked me
if i ever had
a girlfriend

when i was younger

i told her no
that the girls never
seemed to like me

although i always
thought that i was
a nice enough
guy

she seemed
to accept that
answer

odd

how i still
haven't
